What is the Slovakian tradition of Easter water? 
In keeping with Slovakian folk tradition, men and boys douse women and girls with ice water, supposedly to preserve or invigorate their health (the science gets spotty here). In return, the girls reward the guys with dyed eggs and a shot of booze.

💓Čičmany Village Slovakia💓 The village Čičmany is well known for its originally painted wooden houses. The ornaments painted on the houses are listed in UNESCO Intangible Heritage List. Despite of great fire in 1921, the majority of houses were fortunately restored to its original appearance.
